A new beginning the year 1962 Buzz is taken to Oregon

It was a dark and raining evening my mother had one of my many uncles over for the night . When suddenly the back door opens and from my room I can see sister Skip and her husband Donny .

They had  entered the kichten and states loudly we are taking Buzz with us !! My mother enters the kichten in her usual fog and does little to stop them . My older bother Ken now enters the house comes in and starts putting a few of my  things in paper bags. Mother ask taking Buzz where? Skip we are going to Oregon . Mother states your are only 16 years old . Skip but I am a mother of a nine month old and we are leaving for a better life. They take my hand and lead me to 1949 Oldsmobile .

In the car is my 9 month old nephew Little Donny , my 16 year old bother in law , my 18 year old bother

and my 16 year old sister. We head out for Oregon and a better life ! Now is that the blues?

Music is a safe place to take your mind !!

I learned at a young age what it was like to be alone . I fond that I could always turn to music and find a friend. So as the years passed I started first drumming on a drum set I built from broken parts . Later in life I bought a guitar and a couple chord charts and started learning what i could about playing guitar. Most all the songs I make up are stories of my life or a love ones life.

Bucket Of Blues ia a life long passion for music . So far in the Bucket The Hudson Rocket Band it was a lot of fun for me to front the band since I was the founding member of this band . Next in the Bucket was Danny Hay Davis Danny and I did a couple of festivals on acoustic guitars and it was fun. Then my first drumming gig in the Bucket was with Cornell Garrett of the AWOL Band , Danny Hay Davis and Professor Shark Bait we tore it up . The nexted planed gig is with Peter Dammann from the Paul De Lay Band will join us for Music for The Mountain Festival . Bucket Of Blues will be doing more solo and band gigs as the Bucket takes direction .

Customizing and Personalizing My Site

I might not want a large amount of text on my home page if I want to guide visitors toward my other pages. Instead of text, I can add photos or interesting links. One of the first things I would want to do is choose a template that reflects what my site is all about. Colors and themes are a great way to reinforce the message and purpose of my site.

Behind the Scenes of My Home Page

Even if I don't put much text on my home page, it's a good idea to include hidden tools that will help me promote my site, so people other than my friends and family actually see it. For example, I could add meta tags, which are hidden codes that allow search engines to find my site. I could also install stats and a counter so I know how many people are visiting. If not many are visiting, submitting my site to search engines will guide more traffic to my site.
